My first rhyming picture book ‘Billy McGee and Tiny McFlea’ is now available – illustrated by the very talented Scarlett Rickard.
I have always been fascinated with the written word and this has been a feature through my life with lyrics and poems etc. When my daughter was a toddler I found that many of the books I read her were often a little dull for the parent and child and felt that perhaps I could make it a more positive and fun experience for both. And so my writing career began…
I have spent the past years enjoying the experience of writing rhyming books for kids and a chance meeting with Scarlett has turned things on its head. The humour and quality of Scarlett’s illustrations have really added the spark I was hoping for…
